About the course

Essential topics in business are connected in this course with the fast-growing field of analytics. Learners solve problems and understand large amounts of information by using mathematical techniques in marketing, finance and supply chain. Pillars of these modules are business intelligence, financial analytics, data visualization, machine learning fundamentals and learning programming. Abertay students learn to use Power BI, SQL and Tableau to develop business strategies from data (Abertay Business Management with Analytics). The University of Toronto provides courses in many subjects, so students can learn about business performance figures and trends in business digital use (University of Toronto Business Analytics). By attending QUT, students use data in actual projects and leave with a portfolio that highlights their own analytics capabilities (QUT Business & Analytics). Northeastern trains students in methods of modeling, advanced Excel and AI in business, whereas IE University also offers classes in mathematical skills and key soft abilities. The University of Edinburgh (UK) ensures that students study important business skills using data and Python. At York University (Canada), Schulich School of Business teaches students business analytics by applying them to real-life situations and giving them both technical and management knowledge. RMIT University collaborates with companies in Australia to help students learn how to use analytics for improving optimization and forecasting. At the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business, students are able to use real company data and forecasting tools when studying business analytics.
