The Product Design course at Bath Spa University is designed to combine artistic thinking, the use of technology and manufacturing procedures. Through sketching, CAD, 3D printing and prototyping, students work on different kinds of products including electronics and sustainable packaging. In this course, students are encouraged to design for people and the environment, making their projects easy to use. Taking part in projects with others and contact with design professionals allows students to be ready for work in startups, factories or as design entrepreneurs. People who complete the program have built a good portfolio of technical and creative problem-solving skills.
