The BA (Hons) Applied Education Practice is put together for people eager to support and guide learners in schools, colleges and other educational organizations. The University of Bedfordshire presents this degree, designed to train students on practical strategies important for helping students from different backgrounds in schools or learning centers. As part of the course, students learn about major areas of educational theory, policy and practice. You will learn about child development, supporting all students, developing and using lessons and classroom strategies. The course helps students use critical thinking and reflection to look at how teaching methods can be changed to serve those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and different backgrounds. An important part of this program is its dedication to practical experience. When students do work placements in schools, they use what they have learned and gain self-assurance as professionals in education. Getting to work directly with students allows educators to discover better ways to support and guide learning. The program looks at how education helps in achieving equality, wellness and learning throughout life. Students are expected to review major social issues and think about how education can solve them in communities. Additionally, they work on being good at communication, leadership and teamwork which matter a lot in schools or similar services. After finishing this course, individuals are prepared to work as teaching assistants, learning mentors, early years practitioners or community educators. Students can further their education by applying to PGCE or School Direct or choose to specialize in education, leadership or similar support roles.
