The Acting and Performance with Creative Writing BA (Hons) blends acting work and creative writing to provide a special interdisciplinary program. While studying acting, students also work on skills in scriptwriting, telling stories and writing narratives. Emphasizing both, students are able to act in productions and also to write their own plays and books. This class invites students to explore and create projects in theatre, film, radio and digital spaces. Teamwork in workshops and projects helps students build skills that are needed for work in theaters, developing scripts or the media industry. The program involves active performance, careful analysis of literature and writing and access to excellent tools as well as expert guidance. Students coming out of this area of study gain skills that support work in the performing arts, writing, directing or content creation.
