About the course

Students studying for an Acting and Performance BA (Hons) degree at the University of Huddersfield get the chance to fully experience and practice theatre in a real setting. The program works on acting basics such as voice, movement, acting as a character and improvisation, all underpinned by knowledge from performance studies. Students are able to be involved in many types of productions which helps them brainstorm and cooperate with their peers. The course focuses on helping students get ready for their careers in the performing arts with workshops, meetings with industry experts and networking. Studios, rehearsal rooms and simulated performance spaces are available for students. This course gives students confidence, the ability to perform in many ways and artistic freedom, making it good for anyone aiming for a stage, TV, film or related creative job.
