Birmingham City University is located in Birmingham, England’s second biggest city and is open to everyone. In 1843, the school started as Birmingham College of Art and was only acknowledged as a university in 1992. At present, BCU has a student body of almost 31,000 coming from over 100 nations, showing its commitment to international diversity.Two campuses belong to the university: one in City Centre and the other in City South. New facilities for Design and Media, Business, Law, Social Sciences and the Conservatoire for music and performing arts have been added at the City Centre Campus. Health and education support is given to City South Campus students by the Faculty of Health, Education and Life Sciences.
There are many courses offered at every level in the Arts, Design and Media, Business, Law and Social Sciences, Health, Education and Life Sciences and Computing, Engineering and the Built Environment Faculties of BCU.
