About the course

Creativity and modern technology are combined in this degree, helping students to digital artwork, animated sequences, visual effects and interactive media. Core creative skills and main aspects of 2D and 3D animation, motion graphics, game art and digital storytelling are part of the course. By taking part in practical projects, students build an online portfolio that reflects real-world creative jobs.In Computer Arts at Abertay University, students focus on game art and digital media by teaming up on tasks that prepare them for real industry projects and familiarize them with Maya, Unity and Adobe Creative Suite.Specialized degrees in animation, visual effects and digital design are offered by UAL, thanks to industry professional guidance and workshops (UAL Computer Arts).In the US, SCAD students focus on CGI, motion capture and interactive media, learning by doing in the film and game industries (SCAD Computer Arts).At RMIT University, graduates explore entertainment, advertising and digital content by using VR and AR, among other emerging technologies.The course combines digital media with narrative design and usability, placing strong emphasis on telling stories in exploratory environments (York St John Computer Arts).People who graduate from design courses have the skills needed for animation studios, game companies, advertising firms, movie and TV programs and work in digital material.
