Bath Spa University teaches Fine Art students to work hard and creatively with painting, sculpture, installation and digital art. This course works on studio skills along with critical theory which encourages students to think and reflect by themselves. Students explore art topics that are being discussed in the art world and work on original creative pieces with workshops, seminars and critiques. The program encourages students to combine their studies and technical abilities, resulting in projects that are sound in theory and DbS. Using professional spaces and meeting guest artists adds value to the learning experience. Upon completing the program, graduates may work as artists, curators, educators or arts administrators.
