At Bath Spa University, Interdisciplinary BA students are encouraged to practice art in ceramics, sculpture, printmaking, digital arts and performance. A major aspect of the course is for students to build their creative identity while examining important cultural topics. The program invites students to experiment and cooperate with others from different fields by providing excellent studios and workshops. The course prepares students for either a creative industry career or further study by teaching project management, curating exhibitions and creating a digital portfolio. Working with industries and completing real projects gives us experience and research supports the creative work we do. Sustainability, social involvement and artists’ increasing role in our world are given special attention. Students finish their education with assurance and necessary skills to work in various art or design jobs or to pursue further studies.
