At the University of Bedfordshire, the BA (Hons) Business Administration (International Banking and Finance) degree teaches students about international financial systems, money management and how businesses are run. To get students ready for global finance careers, the course combines reading about it with doing it. Students look into corporate finance, investment banking, managing risks, global markets, financial regulations, in addition to basic business topics such as strategy, marketing and leadership. The course uses practical learning by including case studies, team projects and financial software commonly used by investors. The program also ensures students think about economic and financial topics as they relate to countries outside their own. Thanks to work placements, lectures by experts in finance and collaborative projects, students have the skills needed for their careers when graduating. The degree prepares students to pursue work in international banking, financial consultancy, investment analysis and corporate finance and gives them the option to continue their studies with an MSc in Finance or MBA.
